Weeks fly bye as every week is packed with horses dance and beer. Not to mention work, which must take up more time than my free time (plus the time I spend sleeping). I worked at the pool until 7pm yesterday (After the restaurant from 6:15 - 12) and go to do the same today. Fortunately, I had the chance to keep up with my Tuesdays and Thursdays with my new friend Sugar. She is a horse (literally), and keeps my week eventful with her love and ability to suck up all the stress I gather during the week. Sugar is 23 and has not been ridden so much, so I have worked her for three weeks now on a longe line. Just today, I hopped on her back (very gently) and walked her in circles and figure-eights. She loved this as much as I did and we both walked away feeling more whole somehow. She really did not want to go back to the pin so soon but I wouldn't want to break her.
Efrain and I will continue our Wednesday dance ritual at the square in Flag Town and venture to even learn Swing this week! What athletic fun! Not to mention needing a cold-one after every day here in hot hot Arizona. I love our weekly rituals but I am ready for more culture besides the charming western culture of Williams. I have the boots and layers of dust to prove that I live here and what now? To Spain? To Italy? Only time (or a vivid dream) will give us a glimpse of the future.
Until next time.
