Weekend With Lizziebean!

So Liz came to visit a few weekends ago and we had a great time catching up and being creative in the kitchen together! I, yes, I with the help of my good friend, a donated watermelon (my neighbor gets rid of his ripe produce by handing it over to me), Lemon Cello and Club Soda, came up with the perfect summer drink! (Please leave name suggestions in the comment box).
Step One: Blend chunks of watermelon in a blender to make 5 cups or more of melon juice.
Step Two: Sieve out the clumps and seeds to create a very richly colored juice.
Step Three: Mash cubed ice.
Step Four: Mince or mash up mint leafs to taste and add it to the ice if you haven't mashed it in the ice.
Step Five: Pour in a 4-count of Lemon Cello (hopefully made by your father with fresh lemons like mine is.), pour melon juice in slowly (for layering) over the Lemon Cello, add a splash of club soda for alcoholic and more for non.

And there you have it! The perfect summer drink.

Optional ingredients that may affect the richness of taste: You may make a simple syrup for your non-alcoholic drinks and/or if you like especially sweet alcoholic drinks (but I think the Lemon Cello is enough).
Also include: One dancing Liz, must be playing Prince's Greatest Hits.
