Just wanted to also post an update on the little man- yes! It is going to be a boy for those who don't know;-) His name will be Aramis Leslie Tax. We are all very excited to be seeing him soon. He is due February 6th but I already feel like I'm bursting at the seams so I'm wondering if he will be coming sooner rather than later and the family is watching me like my water might break right in front of their eyes. We have a home water-birthing set up and I think that we finally have all the components we need to have a smooth home birth (with the ever-present chance that something may not go as planned- but we plan for that too). The general things needed were a huge bag of salt (50lbs), a birthing pool, a birthing kit made for my midwife and sheets, towels, tarps etc. We found that water birthing was so peaceful though that it all was worth it with Issa so we hope to do the same for Aramis. I will certainly be updating people on facebook when I go into labor!
